HAA
Height Above Airport
The height of the Minimum Descent Altitude (MDA) above the published airport elevation. This is published in conjunction with circling minimums.
HAT
Height Above Touchdown
The height of the Decision Height (DH) or Minimum Descent Altitude (MDA) above the highest runway elevation in the touchdown zone of the runway. HAT is published on instrument approach charts in conjunction with all straight-in minimums.
AFE
Above Field Elevation
Above Field elevation is the height measured above the highest point on the usable runway which is depicted on our charts.
AGL
Above Ground Level
Above Ground Level (AGL) is the altitude expressed in feet measured above the ground.
MSL
Mean Sea Level
